YEAR/ELIGIBILITY: Freshman, second year

RECRUITING: The Florida native Phillips took a rather circuitous route to Maryland. Originally a member of the 2022 class out of Ocoee High (Fla.), Phillips actually officially visited College Park, Md., in June of 2021.
