OL Purcell Transfers To Maryland

Maryland’s offensive line has been somewhat in flux after losing four of its five starters from last year, but May 15 the Terps added some much-needed depth at a key spot. Seventh-year guard/center Mike Purcell transferred over from Duke and will likely challenge center Aric Harris for the starting job on UMD’s line.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder from Ohio spent five years at Elon and started 32 total games before entering the transfer portal following the 2023 season.
