Young Announces Return To Maryland

Maryland basketball received somewhat surprising positive news March 28 with senior guard Jahmir Young announcing his return to College Park, Md., for one final season. Following his second-team All-Big Ten season at UMD, the point guard was expected to pursue his professional career overseas, but he said via Twitter that, “We have unfinished business. I can’t wait to get back to work.” Young likely received a sizable six-figure NIL deal that helped sway his decision as well.
