Cornish Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland hoops saw its first defection this offseason in redshirt freshman guard Ike Cornish. The Baltimore native Cornish saw action in just 21 games in 2022-23 and averaged less than five minutes per game and 1.7 points per game. 

The Legacy Early College (Greenville, S.C.) product was a member of former Terps’ coach Mark Turgeon’s final recruiting class and ended up redshirting his first year in College Park.
