COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland Coach Kevin Willard allowed the tone was set in the first few seconds of the game Feb. 19 in Lincoln, Neb. Donta Scott’s jump shot drew iron, Julian Reese rose up for the offensive rebound and kicked out to Jahmir Young, and Young proceeded to have his shot blocked. Reese, though, corralled the block and went right back up for a point-blank layup. That missed too, but Scott was there for yet another offensive board — the third on one possession.
