Maryland has hired former Houston, Texas A&M and Arizona head coach Kevin Sumlin to be its co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach, as Terrapin Times first reported his involvement in early February. The 58-year-old Sumlin, who is from Brewton, Ala., has been coaching for 25 years and is most well-known for his work with former TAMU quarterback Johnny Manziel.
