OT Ayedze Transfers From Frostburg To Maryland

Maryland continued to fill open holes on the offensive line Jan. 18 when Frostburg offensive tackle Gottlieb Ayedze chose the Terps over Virginia Tech. The The 6-5, 300-pound junior Ayedze, who has one year of eligibility remaining, officially visited College Park, Md., Jan. 13-15 and saw the opportunity to start right away and remain near his hometown of Gaithersburg, Md.

Ayedze took an official to Blacksburg, Va., the week prior to checking out UMD, but the Terps had the last word.
