Maryland’s Defense Wasn’t Good Enough To Contain A High-Powered Offense

We’re hesitant to criticize Maryland’s defense against a team averaging more than 80 points per game and that sat at the top of the Big Ten in most major offensive categories. But the Hawkeyes have been beaten several times before, and it is possible to at least contain them if your defensive intensity is up to snuff.
