COLLEGE PARK, Md. — A lot went right for Maryland (11-5, 2-3 Big Ten) in its 80-73 win against Ohio State Jan. 8, but perhaps the most encouraging takeaway was the team’s overall offensive effort. The Terps put up 80 points on a high-major foe for the first time since dropping 88 on Miami back on Nov. 20, while they hit at their most efficient rate from the field (46.2 percent) and from 3 (38.5 percent) against a high-major since knocking off Louisville Nov. 29.
