Don Carey Wakes Up
The graduate transfer guard Carey, known for his 3-point shooting, entered the bout against UMBC shooting just 23 percent from beyond the arc. He’d suffered through a cold steak of a half-dozen games where he hadn’t converted at above a 33 percent rate from range.
But Carey busted out against the Retrievers, and was really the only Terp who was able to connect from 3.
