Former Tennessee DL Phillips Transfers To Maryland

Maryland added its fifth transfer of the offseason Dec. 20 in former Tennessee redshirt freshman defensive tackle/strong-side end Jordan Phillips. The 6-foot-2, 295-pound Phillips just entered the transfer portal Dec. 20 and immediately jumped at the chance to play at defensive-line needy Maryland.

Phillips, who was a member of the 2022 class and attended Ocoee High (Fla.), actually officially visited College Park, Md., in June of 2021.
