Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) edge rusher Neeo Avery flipped his commitment from Ole Miss to Maryland on the morning of Dec. 21, giving UMD its second-highest rated prospect of the 2023 class.
The 6-foot-4.5, 225-pound Avery, who was originally committed to Penn State, had been on board with the Rebels since late July.
