COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland Coach Kevin Willard dubbed his team’s first loss of the season a learning experience of sorts. The Terps (8-1, 1-1 Big Ten) were certainly ready for Wisconsin and attempted to simulate the Badgers’ gritty, grind-it-out approach during practice. And they certainly were told about the raucous atmosphere in Madison, Wis., and how the Badgers had knocked off eight straight undefeated foes who had entered the Kohl Center.
