WR Demus To Enter NFL Draft, Forego Bowl Game

Maryland fifth-year senior receiver Dontay Demus announced Dec. 1 that he would be entering the NFL Draft and foregoing UMD’s upcoming bowl game. The 6-foot-4, 215-pounder, who was coming off an ACL injury, finished with 22 receptions for 233 yards and a touchdown this season. He scored his lone touchdown on a 17-yard catch against Indiana. Demus had 128 catches and close to 2,000 receiving yards in his UMD career.
