Surging Terps Set For Red-Hot Illinois, Tough December Stretch

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — It’s seven games into the 2022-23 season, and the Terps (7-0) have yet to be truly tested in any of them thus far. In fact, they’ve raced out to double-digit leads and have held halftime advantages of at least 10 points in all but the season-opener against Niagara, when they had an eight-point edge. Maryland even had a 24-point halftime lead against Saint Louis and a 13-point advantage over Miami, the two most potent foes UMD has faced this year.
