WR Copeland Leaving Maryland, Will Enter NFL Draft

Maryland junior receiver Jacob Copeland announced he would be foregoing his senior season and entering the NFL Draft. The 6-foot, 202-pounder spent one season in College Park, Md., after transferring in from Florida and racked up 26 catches for 376 yards and two touchdowns in 2022. Copeland who scored both of his touchdowns in a four-catch, 110-yard day against Charlotte, also said he would not be participating in UMD’s upcoming bowl game so he can prepare for the Draft.
