Maryland football took its biggest roster hit of the offseason thus far when sophomore tight end CJ Dippre elected to enter the transfer portal Nov. 30. The 6-foot-5, 260-pounder was a co-starter alongside of Corey Dyches in 2022 and finished fifth on the team with 30 receptions for 314 yards and three touchdowns. He is the second tight end transfer of the day, following Wes Wolff, who also left UMD in the wake of ex-tight ends coach Mike Miller’s departure.
