OLB Butler Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland redshirt freshman TJ Butler elected to enter the transfer portal Nov. 29. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder only entered a couple games on special teams and did not enter the stat book. 

Butler played in three games in 2021, tallying one tackle against Va Tech in the Pinstripe Bowl.

A mid-level three-star out of St. Frances (Baltimore, Md.) in the 2021 class, Butler was exclusively a basketball player until three years ago.
