Maryland JACK Zion Shockley announced he would be entering the transfer portal Nov. 29. The 6-foot-3, 250-pound redshirt freshman was unable to ascend the depth chart during his second year in College Park, Md., and did not record any statistics.
Shockley appeared in three games as a freshman in 2021, tallying one tackle against Virginia Tech.
