OG Green Enters Transfer Portal

Maryland offensive guard Ja’Khi Green elected to enter the transfer portal Nov. 29. The 6-foot-5, 310-pound redshirt sophomore was expected to be a key backup piece on the offensive line this year, but he did not progress as expected and didn’t see much game action. He dipped behind othr veteran guards such as Amelio Moran on the depth chart.

Green rotated through in two games in 2020 during his freshman year, and then took the field against Howard and Virginia Tech in 2021.
