Terps Establish Defensive Identity Out Of The Gate
Maryland Coach Kevin Willard said his team would be a top 25 defensive team, and the Terps took a step in that direction in the season opener. The Terps played with effort throughout, and for stretches swarmed the ball and basically suffocated the Purple Eagles’ offense.
