RECRUITING: A mid-level three-star out of McDonough (Owings Mills, Md.) in the 2015 class, McKennie was projected to Maryland as soon as the Terps anted up during the recruit’s junior year. The UMD staff under Randy Edsall had a strong connection with McDonogh and coach Dom D’amico, so it was almost a foregone conclusion McKennie would wind up in College Park.
