TOWSON, Md. — Terrapin Times was on hand at Loyola (Towson, Md.) for the Dons’ bout against St. Mary’s (Annapolis, Md.) to scout UMD tight end commit AJ Szymanski. Here is our take on his game:

Szymanski is a big, sturdy and physical tight end at 6-feet-5, 245 pounds. He has a wide wingspan and a stout base, but average-sized hands. He projects as an in-line tight end at Maryland, although he has the capability to get down the field as a receiver.
