Jersey DL Samuels Commits To Terps

The Terps received perhaps their most significant addition of the 2023 class July 8 in Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.) defensive end De’Juan “DJ” Samuels. The 6-foot-1, 240-pound three-star had offers from the likes of Penn State, Rutgers, Michigan, Nebraska, Boston College and others, but he chose Maryland due to his strong rapport with the staff — namely area recruiter Henry Baker — and his standout official visit June 24.
