CB Nelson Takes In Terps, Closing In On Decision

Maryland hosted a pair of recruit targets from Canarise High in Brooklyn, N.Y., during the final official visit weekend in June in three-star defensive end Dillan Fontus and three-star cornerback Tayvon Nelson. Both had plenty of positive comments in regards to the Terps and have UMD among their foremost contenders, but while Fontus is taking a deliberate approach and intends to drag his recruitment into the fall, Nelson is nearing his college decision.
