Maryland secured a commitment from McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) offensive guard/center Tamarus Walker June 12, and afterwards we spoke to his coach, Hakeem Sule, to gain more insight into the 6-foot-4, 302-pound three-star:

Terrapin Times: Did you have an inkling going in he was going to commit heading into the official, or did the official blow him away and that’s what sold him?

Hakeem Sule: I think it’s a combination of both.
