Local TE Dubs Maryland Leader After Offer

Maryland tight ends coach Mike Miller has been identifying local targets in the 2023 class. On May 23 he anted up for Washington, D.C., native Amondi James (Bishop Ireton/Burke, Va.), and May 25 he handed an offer to Loyola (Towson, Md.) tight end AJ Szymanski.

The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Szymanski, who doubles as a defensive end, earned his first power-five look from the Terps.
