RECRUITING: Funk, a low three-star class of 2016 recruit out of Damascus (Md.), seemed bound for a military academy or a school such as Bucknell, Towson or Ohio out of high school. But the Terps, after ex-coach Randy Edsall was let go and Mike Locksley assumed control on an interim basis, tossed the local running back/safety an offer.
