RECRUITING: Banks, from Edgewood (Md.), earned a Maryland offer at a June one-day camp in 2018. He committed to Maryland less than two weeks later, saying it was his dream to stay home and play for the hometown school. Banks may have procured more power-five looks if he would’ve extended his recruitment, but once UMD came through, he essentially shut things down.
