Billmeier Is Willard's Final Assistant

Maryland basketball coach Kevin Willard filled his final assistant coach vacancy with former Seton Hall assistant and associate head coach Grant Billmeier. The 37-year-old Billmeier, who is from Pennington, N.J. and is a Seton Hall alum, served as an assistant with the Pirates for 11 of the last 12 years under Willard (he was at Farleigh Dickinson briefly in 2014-15 before coming back to Seton Hall the next year).
