COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland was a play or two away from beating Michigan State and Purdue and numerous plays away from knocking off Indiana, Ohio State and Iowa, but finally the Terps (11-14, 3-11 Big Ten) ended their five-game losing skid Feb. 18 in Lincoln, Neb.
