COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland’s defense has been streaky at best in 2021-22, but Feb. 6 in Columbus, Ohio, the Terps bottomed out in an 82-67 loss to Ohio State. Maryland surrendered the third most points it had given up all season, allowed OSU to convert at a 50.8 percent rate, which is the second highest percentage for a Terps’ opponent this year, and let the Buckeyes hit 42.3 percent of their 3s (fourth highest for a foe in 2021-22).
