What We Learned After The Ohio State Loss

Taking a look at Maryland’s 82-67 loss to Ohio State Feb. 6:

Maryland’s Defense Listless

In their worst statistical defensive performance since losing to Michigan back on Jan. 18, the Terps allowed the Buckeyes to hit at a 50.8 percent rate from the field and 42.3 percent from beyond the arc. UMD forced just six turnovers against a team that regularly turns the ball over, and the Terps did not record a single block.
