What We Learned After The Rutgers Win

Taking a look at Maryland's 68-60 win against Rutgers Jan. 25 in Piscataway, N.J.:

Ayala, Russell Dial In

Rutgers did all it could defensively to slow down Maryland’s two backcourt mainstays in Eric Ayala and Fatts Russell, but neither an active man-to-man, traps or a 2-3 zone seemed to work. The pair were dialed in all night, nailing jumpers regardless if they were open or not. They seemed to feed off of each other, trading buckets like they were in a game of H-O-R-S-E.
