RECRUITING: Jones was a four-star 2018 recruit out of Princess Anne in Virginia Beach, Va., although he didn’t attract as much recruiting attention as one might expect. At any rate, the Terps and then-area recruiter Chris Beatty went after him, along with Va Tech; WVU; UVA; and Syracuse. A couple of those latter programs dropped off (filled spots, had other concerns), but Beatty and Co.
