Local WR Smith Pledges To Terps On Signing Day

The Terps added a high-upside athlete on signing day Dec. 15 when local receiver/corner Octavian Smith (Paint Branch/Burtonsville, Md.) pledged to the hometown school during a ceremony at his school. The 6-foot, 170-pound high three-star chose Maryland over Northwestern, Boston College and Virginia.
