COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland (5-2) emerged from its two-game tournament in the Bahamas 1-1, and although numerous issues were either amplified or exposed, the Terps remain encouraged heading into December. Even after the 63-55 loss to Louisville in the tournament’s title game, where Maryland shot just 38.5 percent from the floor, 28.6 percent from the line and was out-rebounded 51-25, Coach Mark Turgeon and his team believe UMD is improving.
