During the offseason, Coach Mark Turgeon and his staff pointed to two returners who had vastly improved from 2020-21 and could potentially break out in 2021-22. One was James Graham, who has seemingly fallen out of favor and out of UMD’s 10-man rotation. The other was junior Hakim Hart, who had sprouted up several inches to 6-foot-8 and had supposedly honed his shooting stroke under the watch of “shot doctor” Matt Brady.
