It took more than 30 minutes to do so, but the Terps finally began countering Richmond’s slow-down deliberate approach with an up-tempo pace in the second half Nov. 25. Maryland began pressing full court and hawking the Spiders’ shooters, while Fatts Russell and Co. starting pushing the pass offensively.
