S Gibson Pledges To Terps

The Terps landed the 13th commitment of their 2022 class Dec. 8, receiving a verbal pledge from three-star William Amos Hough (Hickory, N.C.) safety Gavin Gibson. The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder and former Navy commit chose the Terps over Virginia.

Gibson, who had one other power-five offer from Boston College, visited Charlottesville, Va., unofficially on two occasions and officially in early December, and took in Maryland officially on Oct. 30 for homecoming weekend.
