COLLEGE PARK, Md. — It was only Game 1, but Maryland already accomplished something that was practically non-existent in 2020-21: Low-post scoring. Six-foot-11, 240-pound junior Qudus Wahab dropped in a team-high 17 points in the 83-69 win against Quinnipiac, while 6-9, 230-pound freshman forward Julian Reese added 11. Sophomore forward Pavlo Dziuba, a 6-8, 235-pounder, posted up during his 13 minutes of action, and mainstay Donta Scott threw his weight around inside too.
