DE Owens 'Can't Wait To Get On The Field' At Maryland

Daniel Owens (Calvert Hall/Towson, Md.) actually committed to Maryland twice before his public announcement Oct. 20. The 6-foot-2, 245-pound three-star defensive end told UMD coach Mike Locksley he would be a Terp in mid-September, and then Owens let on to his teammates following a thrilling comeback victory against rival Gilman (Baltimore, Md.) Oct. 16.
