Terps Ready For First Road Test, First Ever Trip To Champaign

COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Maryland’s football team has never been to Champaign, Ill., but head coach Mike Locksley and special teams coordinator Ron Zook are quite familiar with the area. Some 16 years ago, Zook had control of the Illinois Fighting Illini and brought on Locksley as his offensive coordinator. The two were together for three seasons, and ended up helping UL reach the Rose Bowl in 2008.
