Live Scouting Report: Preston Howard

TOWSON, Md. — Terrapin Times was at the Calvert Hall (Towson, Md.) — McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) matchup Sept. 11 in order to scout Terps’ tight end commitment Preston Howard. Here is our take on the 6-foot-5, 220-pounder:

Howard lines up out wide and in the slot for McDonogh (he also plays free safety) and projects as a tight end at Maryland. Physically, he is a long, lanky type with the build to add significant bulk once he reaches the collegiate level.
