Maryland secured a commitment from four-star Monroe (N.C.) receiver Shaleak Knotts Aug. 15, and to gain more insight into the 6-foot-2, 185-pounder, we spoke to his head coach, Johnny Sowell:

Terrapin Times: Coach, we know Shaleak is a talented guy, but from your perspective what kind of a player is Maryland getting?

Johnny Sowell: They’re getting a guy with great hands, for sure. Definitely, he can catch the ball.
