Maryland assistant basketball coach Bino Ranson will reportedly leave the program for DePaul after 11 seasons with the program. The Baltimore native Ranson, who coached at St. Frances (Baltimore, Md.) before joining the Terps, was known for his recruiting prowess, particularly in the Baltimore area.

Ranson was integral in brining current Phoenix Suns’ forward Jalen Smith to Maryland, as well as touted recruits such as Diamond Stone; Justin Jackson; Julian Reese; and James Graham.
