Haynes Leaves Maryland For Marquette

Maryland basketball assistant DeAndre Haynes has accepted a coaching position at Marquette under new coach Shaka Smart. The Detroit, Michigan, native Haynes spent two years in College Park, Md., and before that was an assistant at Michigan for two seasons.

He was a member of three NCAA tournament teams, including a Final Four appearance with UM in 2017-18.  He was also a member of a Big Ten Championship and Big Ten Tournament Championship team with the Wolverines.
