The Terps haven’t always played their best basketball down the stretch during Coach Mark Turgeon’s decade-long tenure, but, ironically enough, Maryland might just be hitting its collective stride in what was projected to be its most trying season in some time. The Terps (14-10, 8-9 Big Ten), who have steadily improved since conference play began, have run off a quintet of victories for the first time since the first four games of the year.
