Local TE/ATH Howard Commits To Terps

Maryland secured its sixth class of 2022 commitment Feb. 21 when McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) athlete Preston Howard pledged to the hometown school. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound three-star, who is a dual-threat quarterback with the Eagles, will likely line up as a tight end at UMD.

Howard had more than a dozen offers to date, but said the Terps, Virginia Tech and Syracuse were in touch the most.
