Local TE/ATH Howard Commits To Terps

February 21, 2021

Maryland secured its sixth class of 2022 commitment Feb. 21 when McDonogh (Owings Mills, Md.) athlete Preston Howard pledged to the hometown school. The 6-foot-5, 220-pound three-star, who is a dual-threat quarterback with the Eagles, will likely line up as a tight end at UMD.

Howard had more than a dozen offers to date, but said the Terps, Virginia Tech and Syracuse were in touch the most.
