RECRUITING: Ellis was a four-star recruit and an Under Armour All-American while at DeMatha (Hyattsville, Md.). The Reisterstown, Md., native was originally a receiver prospect in the 2016 class, but many programs sought him on defense and eventually Ellis did switch over to cornerback.
